Indiana University Southeast

Kristen joined Indiana University Southeast as the Head Athletic Trainer in January 2021. 

Kristen is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, receiving her Master of Science in athletic training in 2018. While being a graduate assistant, she worked for Asbury University (Wilmore, KY) as an assistant athletic trainer for their various varsity intercollegiate athletics. She then spent 10 months with King University in Bristol, Tennessee. She then moved back to Kentucky and worked at Louisville Collegiate High and Middle School for about a year and a half before joining the sports medicine staff at IUS.

In 2016, she received her Bachelor of Science from Winona State University with a minor in psychology. While attending school there, she also played 2.5 years on the club women’s rugby team.

While working for IUS, Kristen also spends time working first aid for Varsity Event Administration around the Midwest, and as an athletic trainer for Norton Healthcare.

A native of Madison, Wisconsin, Kristen currently lives in southern Indiana with her family. She loves to bring in her goldendoodle puppy Luca to the athletic training room for belly rubs and ice cubes from the IUS staff and athletes.
