NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast women's tennis team opened conference play Saturday with a convincing 9-0 win over Carlow University. IU Southeast dropped only two games in the match.
The Grenadiers (2-1, 1-0 KIAC) picked up quick 8-0 wins at each position in doubles play.
In singles, Whitney Batliner dispatched Amber Phillips 6-0, 6-1 and Katie Walsh defeated Sarah Rupchak 6-1, 6-0.
Floyd Central product Dana Frank won her first collegiate singles match 6-0, 6-0 over Megan Orr. Katherine Clark, Katie Morrison and Maddie Ikerd all picked up victories by 6-0, 6-0 scores.
The Grenadiers host Franklin College Sunday at 11 a.m.
