NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The women's tennis team took on a shorthanded Campbellsville squad on Saturday night at the Southern Indiana Tennis Center. IU Southeast had three points to start the match but they were only able to come away with one win at No. 4 singles from Jeannie Soto.

Campbellsville dominated doubles play taking both spots by identical 8-1 scores. In singles action the Tigers continued their strong play taking down the top three singles positions in straight sets.

"It was a tough night for our women's team, we just didn't play our best tennis and when that happens against quality opponents you're in for a difficult match," head coach Joe Epkey said.

Next up for the Grenadiers they will travel to Dayton, Ohio to take on NCAA DIvision I opponent Wright State Friday, March 1.
