NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Keith Asplund has been named the River States Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week.
 
Asplund, a graduate student from Jeffersonville, Ind., went a perfect 4-0 on the week.
 
Against Brescia, Asplund won at #1 Singles 6-3, 6-4 and at #1 Doubles (with partner Trey Gutgsell) 7-6 (8-6).
 
In a 4-3 team win against Franklin College, Asplund won at #1 Singles 6-2, 6-2 and at #1 Doubles (with Trey Gutgsell) 6-3.
 
Asplund and the Grenadiers earned the four seed in the RSC Tournament, which will start on Friday.
