NEW ALBANY, Ind. –
Keith Asplund has been named to the RSC All-Conference First Team.
The graduate student from Jeffersonville, Indiana has regularly played at #1 Singles and #1 Doubles in his second season as a Grenadier.
Asplund becomes the third Grenadier to earn All-Conference First Team honors in the 2024-25 season, joining Haley Jaster (women's volleyball) and Lane Lauderbaugh (men's basketball).
Asplund helped lead IU Southeast to the four seed in the RSC Men's Tennis Tournament, which begins on Friday in Evansville, Indiana. The winner of the tournament will earn the RSC's automatic berth into the NAIA Tournament, which begins May 13 in its usual location of Mobile, Alabama.
The first team consists of six players, with seven selected to the second team due to a tie. Five players round out the 18 honored athletes as third team selections. The teams are selected via a vote of conference head coaches.
