NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Elana Hamby has been named the River States Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
 
Hamby, a junior from New Albany, Ind., went a perfect 4-0 last week.
 
In a 5-2 IU Southeast win against Brescia, Hamby won at #3 Singles 6-1, 6-3 and at #2 Doubles (with Anellah Trujillo) 6-3.
 
In a 4-3 win against Franklin College, Hamby won at #3 Singles 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 and at #1 Doubles (with Maci Vaughn) 6-4.
 
Hamby and IU Southeast earned the four seed in the RSC Tournament, which begins on Friday.
