NEW ALBANY, Ind. – IU Southeast volleyball released its 2026 schedule Thursday.
The Grenadiers begin the season on the road with a matchup against Lindsey Wilson on August 18th. After the season opener, the Grenadiers will play in three tournaments, hosted by Milligan University, Faulkner University, and Taylor University. They will also play a scrimmage match against Hanover College between the Milligan and Faulkner tournaments.
The Grenadiers open conference play on September 11th at KCU, then travel to Georgetown College four days later before having a pair of home games.
The Grenadiers' 2026 home opener pits the Grenadiers against the Brescia Bearcats on Friday, September 18th, then will welcome the University of the Cumberlands Patriots on September 22nd.
After taking on the Bearcats and the Patriots, the Grenadiers have five consecutive RSC road matches. The Grenadiers return home for a five-game homestand starting on October 16th.
During their October homestand, IU Southeast will play Midway on the 16th, IU East on the 17th, IU Kokomo on the 23rd, St. Mary of the Woods on the 24th, and end it with a match with Campbellsville on the 27th.
The Grenadiers will travel to Brescia the night before Halloween, then will be back home on November 7th for senior day against IU Columbus.
This year's slate features six matchups against teams that finished the 2025 season ranked or receiving votes in last year's final NAIA Coaches' Poll, and six opponents who qualified for the NAIA Opening Round.
The foundation for our 2026 season has been laid through the dedication and hard work our returning players put in this spring. Their commitment has set the standard, and we're excited to welcome our freshman class to campus as they join us in continuing to build something special," said Head Coach Taylor Wilson-Evanczysk.
