Beau Coffman enters his first year as the Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for IU Southeast baseball. A Louisville, Kentucky native, he brings both high-level playing experience and a strong academic background to the program.Â
Coffman began his career at Wabash Valley College, where he spent two seasons and helped lead the team to the NJCAA World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado. He then transferred to Western Kentucky University, where he contributed to a Conference Tournament appearance. He finished his playing career at the University of South Carolina Upstate, where the team once again advanced to the Conference Tournament.Â
While playing summer ball, Coffman enjoyed a standout season pitching for the Rockford Rivets, where he played for current IU Southeast Head Coach Vince Tornincasa.Â
He earned his associate degree from Wabash Valley, completed his bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies at South Carolina Upstate, and received his MBA this past year. A graduate of Saint Xavier High School, he now applies his playing, recruiting, and academic experience to developing pitchers and building competitive rosters.
