Courtney Holm enters year one as IU Southeast head softball coach.
Holm comes to IU Southeast from Purdue Fort Wayne, where she was an assistant coach for four seasons at the NCAA Division I level.
PFW improved by 10 wins in Holm's second year in 2023. In 2025, the Mastodons had their best season since 2014, finishing as the runner-up in the Horizon League Championship.
12 student-athletes were named to All-Horizon Leagues Teams in Holm's tenure, including four in 2025.
Holm followed head coach Amber Bowman to Purdue Fort Wayne from NCAA Division II Davenport, where the pair coached for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
Holm, a native of Crown Point, Ind., started her collegiate playing career at South Suburban College in South Holland, Ill. In her two seasons with the Bulldogs, the outfielder hit .421 and .463.
She then transferred to play for Purdue Fort Wayne, where she appeared in a total of 83 games in two seasons with 53 starts.
Courtney graduated from PFW, then known as IPFW, in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in general studies while minoring in communication and sociology. She then received her master's degree in management from Davenport.
