Indiana University Southeast

Jennifer joined Indiana University Southeast as the Assistant Athletic Trainer in August of 2021. She works for KORT and also helps with the professional Louisville Ballet Company.

She completed her post-professional Master of Science (M.S.) in Kinesiology with emphasis in Athletic Training degree from Indiana University – Bloomington in 2021 where she was the graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Contemporary Dance, Jacob’s School of Music, and the Marching Hundred (Dance Team) programs.

In 2018, she received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and minor in Biology from Clarke University in Dubuque, IA., where she was a member of the women’s volleyball team for a season and involved with the university’s chorus for three years. Prior to Clarke University, she completed 2 years at University of Dubuque where she was a member of the women’s volleyball, women’s softball, and indoor track and field teams, as well as a member of the chorus.

Before receiving her master’s degree, she worked as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps in Dubuque, IA for the 2018 summer and then proceeded to work as an athletic trainer at Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina as an intern in spring of 2019.

She has worked in an array of traditional and non-traditional athletic training roles, such as professional ballet dancers, collegiate dancers, professional circus artists / musicians/ dancers on a cruise-ship, cheer and dance of all ages, drum and bugle corps (marching arts), high school and collegiate athletics, industrial settings and more.

Jennifer is a native of West Branch, Iowa but bought her first home in Sellersburg, IN where her and her wife Kierstin and their 4 fur babies (Ellie, Bella, Leo and Ari) live.
