Sterling Brown enters his first season at IU Southeast as the Athletic Performance Coach and assistant men's basketball coach.
Brown comes to IU Southeast from Park Tudor, where is was a boys varsity assistant. He has five years of experience as a basketball coach/trainer, and was also a practice player for the Indiana Fever.
Brown had a five year playing career at the NAIA level, most notably at Marian University. He had a 58-22 record at Marian, and reached both an Elite Eight and the Final Four, which was the first in school history.
Prior to Marian, Brown starred at Carmel High School, where he was a three-year varsity starter and two-year captain. He was named a two-time First Team All-MIC player and was an All-State Honorable Mention.
