NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The Indiana University Southeast softball team split today's home doubleheader with Lindsey Wilson College. The Grenadiers fell to the visiting Blue Raiders 7-5 in the first game of the day. The Grenadiers did not get discouraged by the loss in the first game and came out swinging in the second game, defeating Lindsey Wilson 5-1.

The IU Southeast softball team is currently 9-7 overall and an undefeated 2-0 in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC). The Grenadiers now have a 6-2 record at home this season with its only home losses coming to Taylor University and today against Lindsey Wilson.

The Grenadiers are combining for a .278 batting average and have outscored opponents 77-45 in 16 games.

The Grenadiers will be back in action on Sunday (3/21) when the team hosts St. Catharine College for a home doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
