NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The Indiana University Southeast baseball team could break school history tomorrow. With today's 4-3 win over Miami University Hamilton, the IU Southeast baseball team tied its consecutive win streak record at 11 games.
The IU Southeast baseball team will have a chance to break the consecutive win record on Friday afternoon when the team hosts Berea College for a conference doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. The Grenadiers currently have a13-7 overall record and are off to their most impressive start in recent history.
The Grenadiers are combining for a .295 batting average and have outscored opponents 112-98 in 20 games.
The Grenadiers will begin Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) play on Friday when they host Berea College for a doubleheader at 1 p.m. The Grenadiers and the Mountaineers will also play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. All games will be played at the Koetter Sports Baseball Complex on the campus of IU Southeast in New Albany.
