NEW ALBANY, Ind. - IU Southeast baseball is headed to the 2026 Avista NAIA World Series after winning the Bellevue Opening Round bracket. It marks the Grenadiers' third World Series appearance in the last six years.  

The No. 9 seed Grenadiers will take on No. 5 Southeastern on Tuesday for game 13 of the 2026 NAIA World Series. First pitch between IU Southeast and Southeastern is set for 6:30 p.m. PST in Lewiston, Idaho. The Grenadiers advanced to play the Fire after a 5-0 win over No. 8 Tennessee Wesleyan night. 

The winner of No. 9 IU Southeast and No. 5 Southeastern will play in game 15 and take on the winner of No. 10 William Carey at 9:30 p.m. EST, 6:30 p.m. PST on Wednesday, May 27th.
