NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The IU Southeast volleyball team received the IU Southeast President's Outstanding Involvement Award from IU Southeast Student Body President Josh Kornberg on Thursday.

The award recognizes a student organization "that has excelled and made a significant impact on the campus and community," according to a Student Government Association press release.

This is the first time an IU Southeast team has received the award. Student Body President Josh Kornberg pointed to the team's success on the court, school pride and service to the school as reasons why they deserve to win the award.
