NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The IU Southeast women's basketball team dominated Pikeville in the second half to cruise to a 77-47 victory on Saturday afternoon in the Activities Building.
The Grenadiers' swarming defense forced 29 turnovers and held the Bears to 11 percent shooting from behind-the-arc to get the win.
10 out of 11 Grenadiers scored in the contest. IU Southeast (5-3) shot 45 percent from the field and 39 percent from behind-the-arc. The Grenadiers outscored the Bears 42-26 in the second half after leading 35-21 at halftime..
IU Southeast is back in action at home on Thursday when they host Mid-Continent at 7 p.m.
