NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The IU Southeast women's basketball team dominated Pikeville in the second half to cruise to a 77-47 victory on Saturday afternoon in the Activities Building.

The Grenadiers' swarming defense forced 29 turnovers and held the Bears to 11 percent shooting from behind-the-arc to get the win.

Ashmere Woods had her best game of the season with 20 points on seven of thirteen shooting. Megan Murphy and Heather Wheat had 15 and 12 points, respectively.

10 out of 11 Grenadiers scored in the contest. IU Southeast (5-3) shot 45 percent from the field and 39 percent from behind-the-arc. The Grenadiers outscored the Bears 42-26 in the second half after leading 35-21 at halftime..

IU Southeast is back in action at home on Thursday when they host Mid-Continent at 7 p.m.
