NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The IU Southeast baseball team defeated Cincinnati Christina 12-2 in five innings Saturday morning at the Koetter Sports Complex.

IU Southeast (7-12-1, 2-1 KIAC)) was down 2-1 in the fifth inning but a ten-run rally capped by a Jordan Pass two-run double secured the victory. During the fifth, the Grenadiers were aggressive on the base paths and at the plate which led to the victory, head coach Ben Reel said.

Patrick Yochum (1-1) got his first victory of the season for IU Southeast, Joshua Taylor had the loss. Cincinnati Christian (4-16, 0-4 KIAC) has lost five in a row.

The Grenadiers conclude the KIAC Round Robin tournament tomorrow with two games. They begin Sunday's action with a contest against Alice Lloyd (7-8, 1-0) at 11 a.m. and conclude the tournament with a game against Brescia (8-17, 1-0 KIAC) at 6:30 p.m.
