BEREA, Ky. - Indiana Southeast University senior Kayla Duke was named the KIAC softball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 16. This is her third pitcher of the week award for the season.

Duke pitched a pair of complete game shutouts last week and picked up the win against Midway College and Georgetown College. The Grenadiers defeated Midway 7-0 and Georgetown 3-0. The senior pitcher only allowed two hits in both games and struck out 12 opposing batters for the week. She improved her season record to 7-6 and has a 2.28 earned run average.

IU Southeast is currently 18-16 overall and 7-1 in conference play. They will return to action on April 16 when they travel to Berea College for a doubleheader.
