NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Sara Schum led all players with nine kills and Jade Troutman added eight as the IU Southeast volleyball team routed Brescia 25-8, 25-14, 25-15 on Senior Night.

Seniors Troutman and Kelsey Davidson were honored prior to the match. Then the Grenadiers jumped out to a 12-0 lead behind the play of Troutman, Schum and Nicole Jones.

Meaghen Tompkins had 33 assists and Stephanie Bradshaw led the way with 16 digs. Meaghen Tompkins added 12 digs. Kelsey Davidson continued her solid defensive play with nine digs and an ace.

Five Grenadiers had four or more kills in the match as IU Southeast hit .381 on the night.

Paige Mingus had seven kills for the Bearcats (4-23, 1-8).

IU Southeast closes out KIAC play when it travels to Berea on Thursday for a 7 p.m. match.
