NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Whitney Estes hit her eighth home run of the season and Bethany Sullivan got back on track as IU Southeast swept Asbury 20-3 and 4-0 Tuesday afternoon.

Estes' two-run home run in the bottom of the first sparked the offense as IU Southeast pounded out 20 runs on 18 hits in game one.

The Grenadiers (23-5, 13-1 KIAC) tacked on seven runs in the second inning and six runs in the third. Starting pitcher Bethany Sullivan helped herself by going three-for-three with three runs batted in. Estes went two-for-three with three runs scored.

Sullivan worked four innings and gave up three unearned runs while striking out three to move to 9-1.

In game two, Jordan Batliner pitched a gem. She worked a complete game, five-hit shutout and struck out a season-high nine batters, while walking four to move to 3-1.

She hit a sacrifice fly to score Brookelyn Visker as IU Southeast jumped out to a 1-0 in the first inning. Batliner would later double and score on a Sullivan sacrifice fly in the third inning. Visker was on base twice and scored both times.

The Grenadiers will begin a six-game road trip when they head to Ohio Christian on Friday for a doubleheader.
