BEREA, Ky. - Indiana University Southeast freshman Cadie Povaleri was named the KIAC softball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 17.

Povaleri drove in a pair of runs on a double in her only game last week as the Grenadiers defeated Concordia 4-3. She also scored later in the inning. The IU Southeast freshman is batting .364 on the season (4-for-11). She has a home run, two doubles and four runs batted in seven games played.

Indiana University Southeast is currently 6-5 overall and 1-1 in conference play. They will return to action on March 18 when they host Hanover College for a doubleheader.
