NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast volleyball team fell to Point Park 25-23, 25-23, 20-25, 25-22 on Friday night.

The Grenadiers (5-6, 1-1 KIAC) had chances to win each of the sets but 22 attacking errors short-circuited the IU Southeast offense. The Grenadiers led 16-9 in the fourth set before Point Park roared back to take the set and the match.

Hannah Joly had 17 kills for the Grenadiers. Monica Loftus and Michala Beasley each added seven. Hannah Barker had 36 assists.

Isabella Vavrek had 17 kills to lead Point Park and Shiloh Simonson added 10 for the Pioneers.

IU Southeast heads to Oakland City Tuesday for an 8 p.m. contest.
