NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast volleyball team dominated the first two sets of Thursday's 25-14, 25-18, 25-23 win over Spalding in the 2015 home opener for the Grenadiers.

Monica Loftus, Michala Beasley and Hannah Joly led the Grenadiers with eight kills each. Hannah Barker had 28 assists in the match.

The Grenadiers shut down the Spalding attack with 11 blocks. Katie Fischer had four to lead the team.

Jessica Diehl had a match-high nine kills for the Golden Eagles.

The Grenadiers head to Cincinnati Christian Tuesday at 7 p.m.
