NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast volleyball team pushed its winning streak to 12, sweeping Midway 25-15-25-11, 25-14 on Tuesday.
The 12 straight wins are the longest winning streak for the program since 2005, when the Grenadiers won 11 in a row.
Monica Loftus led the Grenadiers with six kills and Lindsey Howell and Hannah Joly added five apiece.
Hannah Barker had 25 assists. Katie Fischer led the Grenadiers with three aces.
Ricky Bowers had seven kills to the lead the Eagles, who dropped to 7-19, 0-6 in conference play.
The Grenadiers (16-6, 9-0 RSC) had 34 kills and just nine attack errors in the match.
IU Southeast travels to Indiana Tech for a tournament on Friday and Saturday.
