NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast volleyball team extended its winning streak to five straight with a 26-24, 25-17, 20-25, 25-22 win over Spalding.

Monica Loftus led the Grenadiers with 11 kills while Hannah Joly added 10.

The Grenadiers (9-6) jumped out to a comfortable advantage in the first set before hanging on for a two-point win.

IU Southeast kept the Golden Eagles in the match with poor serves, they committed 13 service errors on the night.

Natalie Keene had 15 kills and Monica Loftus had 11.

Jessica Diehl had 12 kills to lead the Eagles, who dropped to 10-6.

The Grenadiers travel to West Virginia Saturday to take on Rio Grande and West Virginia Tech. IU Southeast will face Rio Grande at 2 p.m. followed by West Virginia Tech at 4 p.m.
