NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The No. 24-ranked IU Southeast baseball team extended its winning streak to four straight with an 10-0 win in seven innings over Miami-Hamilton.
IU Southeast (31-16) opened the game with a six-run first inning. Tyler Mills hit a two-run single and Santrel Farmer added a RBI single. IU Southeast also executed a double steal at first and third and Daniel Brescia.
In the fourth, Cody Maloon hit a RBI double to left-center to bring in Clay Woeste, who had singled.
In the seventh, Daunte Decello hit a sacrifice fly to left to score Mills and Jordan Branz and Derek Wagner each drew bases loaded walk to make it 10-0.
Owen Evans retired the Harriers in order in the seventh to secure the win. The IU Southeast pitching staff of Grant Bradley, Trevor Reynolds, Brenden Bube and Gray only surrendered two hits in the contest.
IU Southeast concludes conference play this weekend when the Grenadiers travel to Brescia on Friday and Saturday.
