NEW ALBANY, Ind. – No. 10-ranked Lindsey Wilson swept IU Southeast 25-13, 25-15, 25-23 on Tuesday.
Alyssa Cosgrove led IU Southeast with 11 kills and Parker Andres added five.
The Grenadiers (9-3) fell behind 7-0 in the first set and could not recover. They surrendered five of the first seven points on attack errors. IU Southeast committed 30 attack errors in the match.
The Grenadiers trailed in the second set 12-8 before a quick 6-0 run by the Blue Raider put the frame out of reach.
IU Southeast led for the first time in the third set when Delaney Nichols recorded a kill to make it 16-15. IU Southeast took a 20-18 lead on a kill from Jennie Malone but Lindsey Wilson closed the set on a 7-3 run to win the match.
Kasia Niderla had a match-high 14 kills for Lindsey Wilson.
IU Southeast hosts Kentucky State Thursday at 6 p.m.
