Kenna Burman Named RSC Defender of the Week For 2nd Consecutive Week

NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Senior libero Kenna Burman has been named the River States Conference Defender of the Week for the second-straight week and third time this season, the conference announced today.

Burman, an Arcadia, Ind. native, recorded 26 digs in two wins last week. She had 14 digs in a sweep of Asbury and also recorded three aces. In a sweep of Point Park she had 12 digs and an ace. She also added 11 assists on the week.

She recorded a perfect reception percentage as well.

She averaged 4.3 digs, 1.8 assists and 0.7 aces per set last week.

Burman is tied for the conference lead with 5.0 digs per set and is second in the conference with 247 total digs. She ranks No. 38 in the NAIA in total digs and is No. 40 in digs per set.

IU Southeast (8-6, 8-5 RSC) will compete in the quarterfinals of the River States Conference Volleyball Championship on Saturday. The bracket, match times and locations will be announced later this week.
