Jocobi Hendricks of IU Southeast has been named the NAIA Men's Basketball National Player of the Week. Hendricks was selected based on his performance(s) from November 27 - December 3 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/group nominees.
Hendricks, a guard from Louisville, Ky., averaged 37.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in IU Southeast's two games.

Hendricks led the Grenadiers in scoring in both contests. Against Brescia, Hendricks scored 45 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a win. The 45-point effort was one point shy of tying the single-game IU Southeast scoring record.

Hendricks had 29 points, seven rebounds, and four assists in a double overtime contest against Oakland City.

For the week, Hendricks shot 51.9 percent from the field, including hitting four of his five three-point attempts. He also went 16-20 from the free throw line.
