NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast women's basketball team picked up their fourth straight victory with an 88-55 win over Campbellsville-Harrodsburg on Saturday.
IU Southeast held an 8-6 lead early in the fourth, but the Grenadiers used a 7-2 run to extend their advantage to 15-8. The Grenadiers extended their lead to 12 at 20-8 on a three by

The second quarter was evenly matched, as Campbellsville-Harrodsburg narrowly outscored IU Southeast 13-12. IU Southeast still led 45-26 at the half.
The Grenadiers extended their lead to 24 early in the third quarter. IU Southeast led by as many as 26 as the Grenadiers went into the fourth quarter with a 66-40 advantage.
IU Southeast's lead swelled to as many as 38 in the fourth quarter, as the Grenadiers would go on to win 88-55.
"We were sloppy at times today, but it's good to get a win going into the break," IU Southeast interim head coach Derek Sims said. "I saw improvements today. Ella and Skyler both played well. We still have room to grow, so it's good to have some time in between games to get in the gym and work on the fundamentals. Proud of these girls!"
Five Grenadiers scored in double figures.
Ella Brown led the way with a career-high 15 points.
Linzie Wernert had 13 points, a team-high five rebounds, and four assists.
Taylor Treat also added 13 points.
Jesse Ledgerwood had 12 points and four assists, and
Karly Sweeney added 10 points.
Skyler Mills had a career-high nine points and five assists.
Lexi Starr filled the stat sheet with seven points, a team-high seven assists, a team-high five steals, and four rebounds.
IU Southeast shot 49.3 percent overall and 40 percent from three (14-35). The Grenadiers had 28 assists on 35 made shots.
IU Southeast takes a four-game winning streak into the semester break. The Grenadiers return to action on Jan. 4 when they travel to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods for a conference bout.
