"I thought we played hard given the circumstances," IU Southeast interim head coach Derek Sims said. "They came out with a chip on their shoulder. I haven't seen that all season. We ran out of gas. Easy to do when you haven't touched a basketball or practiced since Saturday. We also turned the ball over too much. If we can just clean up our unforced errors, we'll start moving in the right direction. I'm excited to be able to practice tomorrow. We're going to get better!"

Taylor Treat led IU Southeast with 15 points (5-7 from three) and four assists. Karly Sweeney had 10 points and a team-high three steals. Grace Stapleton had nine points and three rebounds. Ella Brown added eight points, five rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and a steal. Makenna Wilson had eight points and three rebounds. Lexi Starr had six points, a team-high seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Jesse Ledgerwood added six points as well.

IU Southeast (5-7, 0-3 RSC) returns to action on Saturday for a conference game at home against Brescia.
