NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Grace Stapleton has been named the River States Conference WBB Offensive Player of the Week, the RSC announced on Monday.
 
Stapleton, a junior guard from Shirley, Ind., had arguably her best week as a Grenadier this past week. She averaged 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in a 2-0 week for IU Southeast.
 
In a 74-72 win over IU Kokomo, Stapleton had 20 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals. She shot 7-9 from the floor and 3-4 from both the three-point range and the free throw line.
 
In an 82-64 win over IU Northwest, Stapleton matched a career-high with 23 points while also adding six rebounds, four assists, three steals, and a block. She went 9-18 from the field and 3-9 from behind the arc.
 
On the season, Stapleton is averaging 13.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. She is shooting 45 percent from the field, 41.5 percent from three, and 86.2 percent from the free throw line.
