"Very disappointed in our effort all around today," IU Southeast interim head coach Derek Sims said. "I felt like we were ready to play. The shootaround was good. I thought our preparation was good. Our attention to detail was not good. Obviously, they're a good team, but our effort didn't match theirs at all. I know they're disappointed in our play. I told them that you have bad days in life, but you can keep fighting to make it a better day. We just have to continue to get better every day with every rep. I hate that our two seniors had a bad senior night. Hopefully we learn from this and move forward in a positive direction. Brescia is a really good team. We'll need to be at our best."
IU Southeast struggled to hang on to the ball, as Oakland City forced 24 Grenadier turnovers.
Makenna Wilson led IU Southeast with 17 points. The only other Grenadier in double figures was
