NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast athletic department had 87 student-athletes across each of its sports named to the Spring 2025 Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
 
This nearly matches the 90 student-athletes that earned these honors in Fall 2024.
 
"We are extremely proud of all the athletes who have continued to work so hard in the classroom on their academic achievement during the Spring of 2025," Athletic Director Tod Bannister said. "It's the second consecutive semester where Grenadiers have shown a special type of resiliency to adhere to a high academic standard while excelling on the athletic fields. The department and the larger university community truly appreciates all their efforts"
 
The spring semester grade-point average was a 3.20 for the department. Five teams had a GPA of 3.0 or higher this semester.
 
The team with the highest GPA this semester was volleyball with a 3.62 mark. Softball had a 3.53 and women's basketball had a 3.41. Women's tennis had a 3.37, and men's tennis had a 3.33.
