NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Rachael Shaffer has been named the River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
 
Shaffer, a sophomore from New Albany, Ind., finished third individually in IU Southeast's first tournament of the season.
 
Shaffer shot an 80 on day one and a 77 on day two en route to the third-place finish. IU Southeast also finished third as a team.
