River States Conference releases Softball All-Conference

OXFORD, Ohio – Officials of the River States Conference released the 2026 RSC Softball All-Conference Teams. The Champions of Character Team honorees were released as well.  

Emma Davis was a First Team All-Conference pitcher. Davis finished the season tied for fourth in wins (13) and fourth in strikeouts (90). Davis picked up her fourteenth win of the season during Thursday's RSC Tournament win over Brescia.  

Sofia Guy was named First Team All-Conference after an outstanding season as an outfielder. Guy batted .353, hit six home runs, six triples, ten doubles, batted in 41 RBIs, and had an on-base percentage of .416. Guy also finished the season with a fielding percentage of .989 with 83 putouts. 

Josie Lemmons earned First Team All-Conference honors finishing the season tied for third with 24 stolen bases and batting .427. Lemmons was IU Southeast's leadoff hitter for most of the season and got the Grenadiers' offense a boost with a .474 on-base percentage and scored 50 runs.  

Lillian Mackey was named Second Team All-Conference as a catcher. Mackey made 36 starts behind the plate with 134 putouts, eleven fielding assists, and a fielding percentage of .986. At the plate, Mackey batted .323 with eight doubles and 23 RBIs. 

McKenzie Walters earned Second Team All-Conference honors as an infielder after having a fielding percentage of .996 with 220 putouts. Walters batted .343 with 15 extra base hits, one home run, 37 RBIs, and a .465 on-base percentage.  

Ava Allen was named Third Team All-Conference as a utility player. Allen appeared in 34 games, batted .292, batted in ten RBIs, had 37 putouts and 34 fielding assists.  

The RSC also released the 2026 RSC Softball Champion of Character Team. Those selected to the Champion of Character Team are nominated by their coaches for best exhibiting the five core values the NAIA embraces, which are Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Servant Leadership, and Sportsmanship. Representing IU Southeast softball on the 2026 River States Conference Women's Softball Champions of Character Team is Hallie Foley.
