PLYMOUTH, Ind. - IU Southeast women's golf finished eighth at the Bethel University Invitational at Pretty Lake Golf Course. It was a three-round, par-72 tournament.
Emma Rowland had IU Southeast's highest individual performance, finishing tied for sixth place. Rowland's best round came in round one where she finished +3. Ava Klips came in 26th place after improving her score by one stroke from round one to round two and three.
Caity Dailey came in 44th place and Lydia Hines finished one behind Dailey. Hines improved her score every round. Hines shaved seven strokes from round one to round two, then improved her score by eight from round two to round three.
As a team, the Grenadiers came in eighth place out of the ten teams present at the tournament. IU Southeast improved their score by 13 strokes from round two to round three, and finished ahead of the only other River States Conference team at the tournament, the Midway Eagles.
Coach Barry Gulley's squad will be back in action in Daniels, W.Va., on Oct. 4-5 for the River States Conference Women's Preview at The Resort at Glade Springs golf course.
