NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The IU Southeast volleyball team heads to the KIAC Conference tournament this weekend at Brescia University in Brescia, Ky.

The No. 3-seeded Grenadiers (18-18, 6-2 KIAC) will face Mountain State at 3 p.m. today (Nov. 12) and if they advance will play tomorrow (Nov. 13) at 1 p.m. with an opponent to be determined.

On Sept. 25, IU Southeast defeated Mountain State University in four sets, 22-25, 25-17, 25-15, 25-17. Freshman Jade Troutman (Mt. Washington, Ky.) had a match-high 11 kills. Sophomore Lindsey Maymon (Sellersburg, Ind.) was the match-high leader with four service aces (.952%)

The Grenadiers have lost in the semifinals of the KIAC tournament the past three years and last reached the NAIA national tournament in 2008.
