Watson Named KIAC Player of the Week

BEREA, Ky. - Indiana University Southeast senior Antoine Watson was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, January 2.

IU Southeast defeated NAIA Division I University of the Cumberlands 90-61 on December 31.

Watson scored 36 points to go along with 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 blocks. The senior forward connected on 75 percent of his field goals attempts (15 of 20). He also made 66.7 percent of his 3-point attempts (4-of-6). Watson leads the Grenadiers with 13.9 points per game. He also averages 4.5 rebounds per game.

IU Southeast is currently 10-6 overall. They will return to action on January 3 when they open conference play by hosting Indiana University East.
