NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The sixth-ranked IU Southeast men's basketball team secured another close win 76-74 over Mid-Continent on Saturday.
The story of the game was the bench scoring for both teams. IU Southeast outscored Mid-Continent 24-8. Tyrell Means scored 14 points off the bench, including a key three-point play w half to keep the lead out of reach for IU Southeast.
Jake Simpson led the Grenadiers with 17 points. Kegan Clark had a solid game with 12 points and seven rebounds. Cameron Mitchell had 15 points.
The Grenadiers (3-2) forced 20 Cougar turnovers in the win.
IU Southeast heads to Ohio to face Miami-Middletown on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
