NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Ethan Haddaway has been named the River States Conference MBB Defensive Player of the Week, the RSC announced on Monday.
 
Haddaway, a senior from Mt. Washington, Ky., was a force at the rim for the Grenadiers. He averaged 7.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks in a pair of IU Southeast wins.
 
In a 67-60 win over Campbellsville, Haddaway had two points, five rebounds, and three blocks to help hand the Tigers their first loss.
 
In a 73-59 win over Simmons, Haddaway had 12 points, four rebounds, and four blocks.
 
On the season, Haddaway is averaging 5.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game.
