BEREA, Ky. - Indiana University Southeast senior Drew Evans was named the KIAC baseball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 9. This is his second pitcher of the week award for the season.

Evans pitched all seven innings against Berea College on April 6 and earned the win as IU Southeast won the contest 6-2. Evans only allowed one earned run and five hits during the game. He also struck out two Berea batters. The senior pitcher improved his season record to 4-2 and currently has a 3.83 earned run average.

IU Southeast is 19-18 overall and currently first in the conference with a 13-5 record. They will return to action on April 10 when they travel to Cumberland University.
