NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Kevin Mitchell had 25 points and Matt Trimnell added 19 on five of nine shooting from three-point range as the Grenadiers rolled past Cincinnati Christian 91-61 in a KIAC men's semifinal.

Kevin Mitchell had a strong first half. He had 16 points in the first half on six of eight shooting from the field. The Grenadiers led by as many as 15 in the first half and led 42-28 at halftime.

The Grenadiers' (26-4) offense got hot in the second half, shooting 69 percent from the field. IU Southeast finished shooting 58 percent from the field and 11-21 (52 percent) from three-point range.

Three other Grenadiers finished in double figures. Cameron Mitchell had 14 points, Terence Billups had 11 and Jake Simpson added 10 points.

D.J. McCommons had 17 points for the Eagles and Kenny Gaynor had 16 points on six of nine shooting.

The Grenadiers will face Asbury in the KIAC Championship Tuesday at 6 p.m.
