NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Point Park University advanced to the KIAC Championship with a 76-51 win over IU Southeast in the KIAC semifinals Monday.

Ashmere Woods led the Grenadiers with 14 points in her final collegiate game and Andrea Owen had 11.

IU Southeast (17-13) hung tough throughout the first half after Point Park went on a 21-6 run to take the lead. IU Southeast was able to come back and lead by one at the break.

The Grenadiers' offense struggled in the second half as IU Southeast shot 17 percent from the field.

April Austin had 23 points for the Pioneers, who moved to 24-6. Ja'Nia McPhatter had 18 points and 14 rebounds and Emily Schartner had 13 points.

Point Park will face Asbury at 8 p.m.
