NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Six Grenadiers scored in double figures and IU Southeast led by as many as 31 points en route to a 93-70 win over Asbury.
Kevin Mitchell had a game-high 18 points to pace the Grenadiers. Cameron Mitchell added 17, Vernon Payne and Aishon White each had 11 and Jake Simpson and Kegan Clark each had 10.
Payne had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
The Grenadiers (15-3, 9-0 KIAC) scored 31 points off 15 turnovers and pounded the Eagles in the paint 56-26.
IU Southeast led 49-38 at halftime and scored off of three quick Asbury to start the second half and put the game away.
Lee'Vaughn Morris had 15 points to lead the Eagles.
IU Southeast heads to Alice Lloyd on Saturday for a 4 p.m. matchup with the Eagles.
