NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Heather Wheat had 17 points and Michaela Harris added 14 to lead the Grenadiers to a 92-56 win over Carlow University.
The Grenadiers (7-5, 3-0 KIAC) opened the game on a 24-9 run and led 45-25 at halftime. Carlow (5-6, 1-3) did not break double-figures until Jessalyn Timko made a free throw to make it 24-10 with 7:34 left in the first half.
IU Southeast forced 11 turnovers in the first half which led to 13 points and they pounded the Celtics in the paint 22-10 to open the large lead.
Bridgette Jones scored 11 points and Andrea Owen scored 10 off the bench for the Grenadiers. The IU Southeast bench outscored Carlow's 45-11.
IU Southeast is back in action on Saturday when they host No.21-ranked Point Park at 4 p.m.
