NEW ALBANY, Ind. – A cold shooting night doomed the Grenadiers as they fell to visiting Oakland City 67-54.
Annie Thomas had a game-high 22 points while Jocelyn Mousty added 16 points and 16 rebounds.
The Grenadiers (6-8) shot 31 percent (22-of-72) from the field in the game and 24 percent (7-of-29) from three-point range.
IU Southeast trailed 29-24 at halftime and trailed 46-42 after the third quarter but the Lady Oaks went on an 11-0 run to start the fourth which put the game out of reach.
Aricka Prentice had 13 points and Chelsea Jellison had 10 to lead Oakland City.
The teams combined for 36 turnovers in the game. Oakland City dominated in production from its bench, outscoring the Grenadiers 25-8.
IU Southeast hosts a KIAC doubleheader against IU Kokomo on Thursday beginning at 6 p.m.
