NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The Grenadier men's basketball team led Brescia 38-34 at halftime but a huge second half from the Bearcats had them picking up the win 77-63 on Saturday.

The Bearcats (10-9, 4-4 KIAC) outscored IU Southeast 43-25 in the second half. The Bearcats shot 54 percent from the field and held the Grenadiers to just nine made field goals in the final frame.

Demetrius Stanton had a big first half, scoring 14 of his 19 points in the first 20 minutes. Robert Sawyer had 11 points and 13 rebounds in the loss.

Trey Howard had 29 points to lead the Bearcats. Dillon Geralds had 15 points, Austin Morris had 12 points and 10 rebounds and Jermain Langley had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

IU Southeast travels to CCU Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
