NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast women's basketball team saw its four-game winning streak snapped on Saturday, as the Grenadiers fell to NAIA Division I No. 5 Lindsey Wilson 90-69.
Annie Thomas had 14 points, Jocelyn Mousty had 13 points and 13 rebounds and Baylee Krueger had 11 points and five rebounds.
The Grenadiers (7-3) committed 18 turnovers and the Blue Raiders scored 28 points off of the mistakes. IU Southeast was dominated in the paint 58-30.
IU Southeast had a poor day from behind-the-arc, shooting just 4-of-20 from three-point range. They were 2-of-12 in the first half and trailed 43-34 at halftime.
IU Southeast was able to hang around in the third quarter and trailed 59-52 entering the fourth before Lindsey Wilson went on a 20-5 run in the fourth to put the game away.
J'Nayah Hall had 14 points and 12 rebounds and Teanna Curry had 14 points as Lindsey Wilson remained undefeated at 10-0.
The Grenadiers travel to Alice Lloyd College on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
