NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The No. 19-ranked IU Southeast men's basketball team trailed 22-12 midway through the first half but outscored the Bulldogs 75-44 the rest of the way to earn their eight win in a row.
Joe Ferree had 21 points to lead IU Southeast on 6-of-10 from three-point range. Joe Jackson added 12 points and seven rebounds in the win.
Boyce opened the second half with a three-point field goal to cut the lead to two. Jackson and Ferree hit three three-pointers to put the lead back into double-digits for the remainder of the game.
The Grenadiers (8-1) pounded Boyce in the paint 46-16. IU Southeast shot 10-of-20 from three-point range.
IU Southeast hosts University of the Cumberlands Saturday at 3 p.m.
